This past Saturday I threw what was supposed to be a summer BBQ, but due to some paranoia and constant checking of the weather network I was lead to believe that sever thunder showers would ruin the event. After much thought and the building manager confirming that the BBQ's in the outdoor area had the gas lines shut.. it was decided. Time to change it to a dinner party and gather some pretty things for the table that would make up for the lack of grilled meats.
This is just a quick post for inspiration for your next party. I've always got a stash of vases, teak nic-nacs and a secret hoard of laterns so it was easy gather a bunch together on some cheap restaurant linens from Value Village and top it with a vintage lace accent. Over all it worked and created an eclectic table setting that was perfectly in tune with my personality.
Bowls: Anthropologie, Value Village, Target // Teak serving plate: Goodwill // Milk glass vases: Value village // Lanterns: Ikea, Dollarama, vintage // Glassware: Winners
