These are my purchases moving from April to May. It might be only May 11th but I've almost already bought all the things I've budgeted for and a few things I've always wanted but never could bring myself to get. So from left to right; red trousers from Zara which you would have seen in my previous post. They are amazing trousers that fit higher on the waist and are such a vibrant color that it just makes me happy to wear them. Next are rain boots, I didn't want chunky wellies like my dad would wear fishing or Hunter boots, which look nice but once again are chunky. Also, when looking at Burberry boots they were way out of my price point so these ones from Steve Madden were the right mix with a slimmer fit and great details like the harness and added red zipper up the back. The blue top is one that's similar to the one I purchased from BCBG Maxazria it's more of a button down style but with similar draping and texture to the top that's above. Here are those ASOS boots once again which should be arriving soon in the post so I really hope they fit and can be worn for some big events later this month. Some basic T's from Jacob and finally my House of Harlow earrings, I had originally gone in to purchase the starburst ring but after trying it on and seeing the size of it on my hand, it pretty much engulfed my hand and normally big statement jewelry is my thing, but this time it was much too big for my hand, so the earrings were the next best choice which will likely get more wear anyways. Overall I'm really happy with everything purchased and starting to become more aware of pieces that fit my style. In other words before purchasing I'm making sure to truly love it before looking at the price tag or factoring in the persuasive SALE sign.
